Guest - Aditya Permana


A highly versatile artiste, composer and performer, Aditya participated actively in interdisciplinary projects during his student life in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

Aditya graduated with distinction from Diploma in Music Performance, NAFA (2010); Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music (2011), NAFA in collaboration with University of Wales, UK; Master of Music in Performance (2012), Royal College of Music, London. In addtion as a recipient of NAFA scholarship with full waiver of tuition fee for his 3-years diploma and 1-year bachelor studies, Aditya was the Best Graduate for Diploma in Music Performance in 2010 for his outstanding achievements of his cohort.

In the last five years, Aditya bagged major prizes for his piano performances, including second prize in the UPH Conservatory National Piano Competition (Indonesia, 2008), third prize in the Lucien Wang Competition (2009), and first prize for the Piano Category in the NAFA-Music Essentials Concerto Competition (2010).

Aditya Permana was the pianist for West End Theatres and Royal College of Music Musical Theatre between 2011 and 2012. He was involved in West End musical productions - Billy Elliot by Sir Elton John, West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, Sound of Music by Rodgers, A little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. He was the Music Director for the Indonesia Arts Festival 2010. Aditya composed and directed  a musical theatre performance "Maha Brata". He was in the organizing committee for Open Mic, Film Screening, and Wayang performance. His performance projects included Repetiteur for Turandot and Merry Widow, productions by Singapore Lyric Opera's.
